Inspiration

I got a basket full of lemons and they all taste the same
a window and a pigeon with a broken wing;
You can spend your whole life working for something
just to have it taken away...
But love will come set me free,
love will come set me free
I do believe!
Love will come set me free,
I know it will.

Home Sweet Home...almost

So...my time in beautiful Tanzania is almost over, I am very sad...but also very happy to be coming home!

I have already decided to come back and work with the Treasures of Africa kids some more...I mean when you hold those kids in your arms, its not hard to decide to come back! Eah and every one of the kids is special and amazing, and there is no way I can leave them and not come back.

The last few days have actually been pretty mellow, a lot of work projects at the orphanage and jut enjoying our last few days. I was thinking last night how much this trip has changed my life. Like everything I knew about my faith, God's power, worship, triumph over injustice...all of it, completley warped! I can not wait to share all of it with you! But you will have to give me some time to process all of it back in the states.

Some quick highlights over the last few days:
We met the "Queen" of Nigeria (I don't know if she is the current queen, but she is royal, has a ton of money and power, loves the Lord, and LOVES the kids! *which is great since she has a lot of money...)

We did laundry manually...by hand. BIG accomplishment.

We watched the revivial going on in Florida on TV...interesting.

I can't think of much else, later this afternoon, we are going to an African wedding! Booyah its going to be SWEET! I probably won't update anymore...so it's been real blog world. Catch you in the good ol' US of A in a few days =]
