No one said they'd all be serious.

So time for my inner girl/ranter to come out in blog form. Sorry to bore you, but never agreed to only post pictures and deep thoughts.

WHY THE HECK is Heidi from "The Hills" coming out with a "Christian" album?! Kill me now, like we need more people to hate us because we look like hypocrites. And not that celebrities are the only ones to blame for people thinking we are hypocrites, but every move they make is in the news...so it will definitley hurt thr reputation.

She was quoted in an interview to have said: ""I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God." REALLY? You freaking live with your boyfriend and your obviously sleeping together...pose almost naked for Maxim...treat marriage like a publicity stunt whenever you feel like it...give up your own dreams every time your boyfriend threatens you...and spread sex-tape rumors about your ex-best friend. PERFECT Christian role-model.

Oh and let's not forget when she compared herself to Jesus:
"...God knows the truth in all of this, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, ya know? But it doesn't matter to me."

WHAT!?!?!?! Not even remotely the same thing darling...nice try though. You just made me dislike you more!

So don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that these issues I have with Heidi are not unique to her, and I am not judging her because of her mistakes...we all make them yes. But the fact that she is going around and talking the talk of loving Jesus WHILE doing all this crap...makes people think one of two things: 1) that Christians are morons who have no morals and just claim to love Jesus for the sake of their comfort in eternity...or 2) that doing all this shady stuff in Christianity is OK, and therefore they will become "Christians" and still sleep with their boyfriends, pose naked, party nonstop, etc. It pisses me off...because in a culture where little girls are so obsessed with this type of stuff and TV show, they are totally going to buy her 'religion' and its going to be counterproductive to everything that people have done in the TRUE name of Jesus. GREAT.


I don't know if I sound like a crazy religious nut, but I mean translate what she is doing to anything....sports, careers, anything that requires dedication and imagine is someone were to come along and just snatch it up as a lame marketing tool. Sucks, and I know that's what this culture has come to...but it's just frustrating.
