Inspiration

I got a basket full of lemons and they all taste the same
a window and a pigeon with a broken wing;
You can spend your whole life working for something
just to have it taken away...
But love will come set me free,
love will come set me free
I do believe!
Love will come set me free,
I know it will.

Thank God for spandex...

They have changed my life here...leave that visual up to you. : ]

Greetings from Moshi, Tanzania!
It's hot, but not Africa hot...so its been nice.

(Mom and Dad, I am alive!)

We had good flights, the airplanes were huge but when you are sitting for 10 hours you hate life no matter how much leg room you have. The airport in Heathrow is a crack up...like a mini South Coast Plaza...but I slept most of the time on the ground (sick) so didn't see much of "London"
We landed in Kenya...smelly smelly Kenya. But the people were sweet. We got on a much smaller plane and headed to Kilimanjaro. Tiny airport, but we got through customs with 13 bins full of supplies for the orphanage and ALL OUR LUGGAGE which was a miracle.

Ryan picked us up and we piled into a van *piling is an ART here* and headed to a church. The service lasted 4 hours, well no...we were there for 4 hours...but it wasn't over when we left. It was long and we were definitely tired, but it was amazing to see how passionate they worship God and how deeply their love goes for him. Kind of kicked my butt if you asked me. It was also our first real encounter with kids...they just want attention and to be held by a "wazungu" which is fine by us! I am going to have to get used to falling in love with a kid and then not seeing them ever again after only spending like and hour with them.

After church we headed back to the hotel (which is nice...well, Africa nice) and hit the sack. The time difference threw me for the first day, but now I think I am pretty good. Sleeping under a mosquito net was interesting, made me glad I didn't have one of those canopy beds as a kid...

Not much more, we went into town today...got hit on by some old men...walked past a line of convicts straight from their trial on the way to the prison house...the norm.

Africa is crazy to say the least, I probably cannot ever do it justice from this tiny internet cafe...but I will try to update a few more times...I love and miss you all. Ha, I am pretending there is a lot of people reading this...probably just mom and dad...so know that I am fine, I am eating (crazy food...at least TRYING it THANK GOD for Cliff Bars) and God is working! See you in a few weeks!

Oh and PS. We have been taking A TON of pictures, but everything is slow here so they probably won't be up.
